Laser Hair Removal
Smooth skin. Less shaving. More confidence.
Tired of constantly shaving, waxing or dealing with unwanted hair?
Laser hair removal offers a long-term solution for reducing unwanted hair and making your everyday beauty routine simpler.
At Darinaki Glow, I use advanced 3-wavelength diode laser technology, designed to target the hair follicle while keeping the treatment comfortable with an integrated cooling system.
Whether you're struggling with fast regrowth, dark or coarse hair, shaving irritation, ingrown hairs or simply the inconvenience of regular hair removal, your treatment plan will be tailored to your skin, hair and chosen treatment areas.
Less hair. Smoother skin. Less time spent shaving.
What problems can laser hair removal help with?
Constant shaving & fast regrowth
You shave in the morning and a day or two later the hair is already back.
For many people, this becomes an endless cycle of shaving, regrowth and shaving again — especially on the legs, underarms and bikini area.
Laser treatment targets the pigment within actively growing hairs and delivers energy to the follicle, helping to progressively reduce its ability to produce hair.
Over a course of treatments, you can expect significantly less regrowth, with remaining hairs often becoming finer and less noticeable.
Ingrown hairs
If you regularly experience painful or unsightly ingrown hairs after shaving or waxing, laser hair removal can be particularly helpful.
By reducing the amount and thickness of hair growing from the follicles, laser treatment can also reduce the conditions that contribute to recurring ingrown hairs.
This makes it especially popular for the bikini area, underarms and legs.
Razor bumps & irritated skin
Redness, itching, bumps and sensitivity after shaving can make beautifully smooth skin feel almost impossible to achieve.
And shaving irritated skin again can create a frustrating cycle:
Shave → irritation → regrowth → shave again.
By gradually reducing hair growth, laser hair removal can reduce your reliance on razors and help you maintain smoother-looking skin with less frequent shaving-related irritation.
Dark & coarse hair
Coarse, dark hair can be particularly noticeable, even shortly after shaving.
Because laser technology targets melanin — the pigment within the hair — dark hair can respond particularly well to laser treatment when there is sufficient contrast and the treatment is appropriate for your skin type.
As your course progresses, regrowth typically becomes less dense, finer and slower.
Unwanted facial hair
Unwanted facial hair can affect confidence and often requires constant maintenance.
Laser treatment may be suitable for areas including the:
Upper lip • Chin • Jawline • Neck • Sideburn area
Your suitability will always be assessed first, as facial hair can behave differently from body hair and hormonal influences may affect results.
Why 3-Wavelength Diode Laser?
Not every hair sits at exactly the same depth within the skin.
My diode laser combines three wavelengths — 755 nm, 808 nm and 1064 nm — allowing different depths of the hair follicle to be targeted during treatment.
This combination gives us greater flexibility when treating different areas, hair characteristics and suitable skin types.
755 nm
Works more superficially and can be useful when targeting finer or shallower pigmented hairs.
808 nm
The classic diode wavelength and an excellent all-round wavelength for laser hair reduction across many common treatment areas.
1064 nm
Penetrates more deeply and can be useful when working with deeper follicles and appropriate darker skin types.
Together, the three wavelengths provide a versatile approach to professional laser hair reduction.
Comfort matters
Advanced cooling technology
One of the biggest concerns I hear from new clients is:
“Does laser hair removal hurt?”
Modern diode laser treatments are very different from older technologies.
The handpiece incorporates skin cooling, helping to keep the skin comfortable while laser energy is delivered to the hair follicle.
Most clients describe the sensation as warmth or a brief prickling feeling rather than severe pain.
Sensitive areas such as the bikini line can naturally feel stronger, but treatment settings are adjusted according to your skin, hair and comfort level.
Why do I need a course of treatments?
This is one of the most important things to understand about laser hair removal.
Hair grows in different stages, and laser is most effective when a hair is in its active growth phase (anagen).
Not every hair is in this phase at the same time.
That's why one session cannot treat every follicle effectively.
With each appointment, we target another group of actively growing hairs. Gradually you should begin to notice:
Less hair → slower regrowth → finer remaining hair → smoother-looking skin.
For most clients, a course of treatments is required, followed by occasional maintenance where needed.
The exact number of sessions varies according to the treatment area, hair colour and thickness, skin type, hormones and individual response.
Popular treatment areas
Laser hair removal can be used on many areas of the face and body, including:
Face & chin
Upper lip
Underarms
Arms
Bikini & Hollywood
Legs
Abdomen
Back & shoulders
Multiple areas can also be treated during the same appointment.
Laser vs shaving & waxing
Shaving cuts the hair at skin level, so the follicle remains untouched and the hair simply grows back.
Waxing and sugaring remove the hair from the root, but the follicle remains capable of producing another hair.
Laser hair removal takes a different approach by targeting pigment within the hair and delivering controlled energy to the follicle, progressively reducing future hair growth.
So instead of continuously removing the same unwanted hair, we are working towards long-term hair reduction.
Is laser hair removal permanent?
I prefer to be transparent with my clients.
Laser hair removal is best described as long-term or permanent hair reduction, rather than promising that absolutely every hair will disappear forever.
A successful course can produce a significant reduction in hair growth, and any remaining hair may become finer, lighter and slower growing.
Hormonal changes, pregnancy, menopause, certain medical conditions and medications can influence future hair growth, so occasional maintenance sessions may be required.
Your treatment starts with you
There is no single laser setting that should be used for everyone.
Before starting your course, we assess your skin type, hair colour and thickness, treatment area, medical history and any contraindications.
A patch test is performed where appropriate before treatment begins.
Your settings are then selected and adjusted according to your individual response.
Because effective laser treatment should be personalised — not one-size-fits-all.
Imagine not having to think about shaving every few days.
No last-minute panic before putting on a dress.
Less worrying about stubble at the beach.
Less time spent shaving your legs, underarms and bikini area.
And fewer appointments spent waxing the same hair again and again.
Laser hair removal is not simply about removing unwanted hair.
It's about making your routine easier, smoother and more convenient.
